I'm originally from San Diego where I worked with Heartland Human Relations and Fair Housing Association.
We dealt primarily with landlord-tenant mediation but touched on a wide range of social concerns such as human
trafficking, labor abuse, and discrimination in the housing market.
I'm currently going into my third year at Cal in the Urban Studies major (commonly referred to as the city planning
for undergrads).
I recently picked up a job as a research assistant for a Cal professor in the planning department but am still
interviewing for other jobs outside of Berkeley.
I'm a member of various clubs such as Rotaract (the college version of Rotary) and American Society of Civil
Engineers, and I'm also the president of BUSSA (Berkeley Urban Studies Student Association).
And just for fun, in my free time, I like to rock climb, wind surf in the bay, and hike through Strawberry Canyon.
I'm a little neurotic in that I always like to keep busy, but for me, a busy life is a happy life.
