Brett Becker, AICP, is currently an Environmental Planner with the City and County of San Francisco.
Brett has been a member of AEP since 2003 and has over nine years of experience managing development and
natural resource projects, preparing CEQA documents, and processing entitlements within California.
Prior to San Francisco, Brett worked for PMC in their Oakland office as an Environmental Planner/Project
Manager, Denise Duffy & Associates, Inc. in Monterey as a Planner/Project Manager and the Monterey County
Planning Department as a Coastal Planner.
Brett holds a Masters in Public Administration from Golden Gate University, a Masters in Marine Affairs
from the University of Rhode Island, and a Bachelors in Marine Science from the University of San Diego.
Outside of work, Brett enjoys surfing Ocean Beach, trail running, watching soccer, brewing beer, and
traveling to Europe to visit friends and family.
