Emma Jack

 

Dr. Emma Jack, Senior Biologist at CAJA, has over 13 years of experience in ecology and ecotoxicology of terrestrial and aquatic systems ranging from molecular mechanisms to large field trials. Her areas of expertise include plant ecology, ecotoxicology, pollutants and human health, risk assessment, population genetics, biological sections of NEPA/CEQA (biological opinions, biological assessment, wildlife constraints, mitigation monitoring), regulatory permitting, and project management.

Emma has also worked on documentation pursuant to Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA), including screening level environmental risk assessments (SLERA) and base line environment risk assessments (BERA).

Dr. Jack has worked within various academic and governmental institutions and has been awarded numerous international grants and awards including from the European Union, UNESCO, and the Dutch Scientific Organization (NWO).
