Jennie Anderson is our Co-Vice President-Social Events.
She has been a member of AEP since 2005.
Ms. Anderson is a Project Manager at Christopher A. Joseph & Associates Environmental Planning and
Research with experience in both the management and preparation of environmental review documents pursuant to
California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) for clients in both the
public and private sector.
Her broad range of project experience includes mixed-use developments, residential subdivisions, educational campus
developments, master plans, public works, and historic structures.
Her responsibilities include the co-management of a variety of projects;
conducting research and writing various document sections; corresponding with regulatory agencies;
coordinating subcontractors;
as well as preparing proposals and marketing to potential clients.
Ms. Anderson has extensive experience in preparing the following documents:
Environmental Impact Reports;
Initial Studies;
Mitigated Negative Declarations;
Environmental Impact Statements;
Environmental Assessments;
FONSIs;
Comprehensive Land Use Management Plans;
and Biological Assessments.
Additional experience includes conducting biological field research (i.e., sensitive species surveys, habitat
assessment, waters of the U.S. delineations) and implementing mitigation monitoring programs.
Furthermore, Ms. Anderson graduated from San Diego State University with a B.S. in Biology and is currently
pursuing the California Water Management and Ecosystem Restoration certificate through UC Berkeley.
In her spare time, Jennie enjoys traveling, camping, boating, hiking, biking and other outdoor activities.
She is in avid member in her local community and is committed to helping the environment through her work and
involvement with various organizations such as the Sierra Club, and the Sonoma County Bird Rescue Center,
where she currently volunteers as a Resident Raptor Handler, Community Avian Conservation Educator, and an Avian
Rehabilitator.
