Jessica Viramontes is our Newsletter Editor.
She has been a member of AEP since 2004, when she joined as Secretary of the Cal Poly Student Chapter.
She is currently an Associate Environmental Planner with Christopher A. Joseph & Associates in Oakland where
she is responsible for the preparation of proposals and documents, conducting research, and participating in
hearings and seminars.
Jessica graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with degrees in Environmental Management and Protection and
English Literature.
She is currently pursuing a Master in Science for Environmental Management from the University of San Francisco
and plans to graduate in 2009.
In her spare time, Jessica enjoys volunteering as a tutor with the Second Start Adult Literacy Program, as a foster
for Hopalong Animal Rescue, and a dog volunteer at the Oakland Animal Shelter.
